After rereading the last posting so I don’t repeat myself, I can’t say that I have all that much to report except to say that things aren’t getting worse, but are improving instead. The pain in the upper right side is merely the pain of the two recent extraction sites, and both seem to be healing cleanly. The medication level is definitely diminishing as well, and in one week I’ve gone from taking 4 Motrins every 6 or so hours to 2 Motrin every 8 to 10 hours, which is a definite improvement. So, though it seems like problems make for better drama, you can trust me when I say I’m not complaining about my situation today!

There is one small problem I see (or feel) brewing though, and it is one where I will have to wait to see what happens. There is a small lump on the lower right between the jaw and cheek that has been there for some time; I noticed it for the first time right after visiting Dr. Mark on November 11th. Now, as the upper pain lessens, the lower pain has become more noticeable. It is not a crisis by any stretch of the imagination, but it is making its presence known. What is it? I have no idea. I only know that it seems to be centered under the root canal extraction site from tooth 31, which was removed on October 6th. Do I need it looked at? Probably, though that will require finding another local dentist, won’t it?

Hoping this won’t be as difficult as it was the last time, I’ve decided to go with the phone book method! I’m planning on calling any dentist that advertises mercury-free dentistry (in a more reasonable 50 mile radius this time), and see what I come up with. Hopefully I’ll be able to find someone whose office might not be listed as ‘biological’, but would at least be free of mercury vapor. Biological is not so important as the lack of that vapor, so I’d settle for someone who just doesn’t do amalgams. I don’t need or want any more drama in this area, and I’m guilty of ‘wishing’ that things would just go smoothly for once! Wouldn’t it be great if God utilized neon signs? Then, by way of flashing lights, I could be certain I’m making the right choice!

Anyhow, this is where I am four days before Christmas. I hope to squeeze in one more blog before that date, because there is something I really want to do: I want to make a Christmas list of all the GOOD things that have happened to me since October.

There won’t be as much drama, I know, but I do hope it will be more uplifting!
